Dr. Justin Dunn is a native of Newnan, GA. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Georgia where he graduated magna cum laude with high honors receiving bachelor’s degrees in both biology and psychology. He earned his medical doctorate from Medical College of Georgia where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Tennessee/Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Following residency, Dr. Dunn moved to La Jolla, CA where he completed a lower extremity reconstruction fellowship at Scripps Clinic.
Dr. Dunn focuses on the treatment of arthritis of the hip and knee. He has subspecialty training in joint replacement surgery including direct anterior approach total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, and complex revision total joint replacement. He also has expertise in joint preservation including osteotomies to improve lower extremity alignment and osteochondral allograft transplantation, which uses healthy cartilage to repair areas of damaged cartilage in the hip, knee, and ankle. Dr. Dunn also cares for patients with a broad array of orthpaedic injuries and conditions, including fractures, trauma, and sports related injuries.
Dr. Dunn resides in Rome, GA with his wife, Jessica, and their two children, Tripp and Ivey.
